                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1200 GROVE
                   STREET, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF GROVE
                   STREET SOUTHWEST OF WEST 12TH STREET (AS
                   RELOCATED), FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1200 Grove Street, being
                on the southeast line of Grove Street southwest of
                West 12th Street (as relocated).  Lots 36, 38, 40,
                42, and the north 25 feet of lot 44, block 9, East
                Tennessee Iron and Manufacturing Company's Addition
                to the City of Chattanooga, not recorded, and the
                south 25 feet of the original right-of-way of West
                12th Street (formerly Cravens Street), as abandoned
                by City of Chattanooga Ordinance No. 5922; being
                the properties described in deed book A, volume 18,
                page 387, ROHC, and deed book V, volume 28, page
                213, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 145F-A-3.
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
